1.- You´d better catch a taxi if you want the clients to ve satisfied. They don´t like people being late.

Mejor será que cojas un taxi si quieres que los clientes estén satisfechos. No les gusta que la gente llegue tarde.

 

2.- They´d better catch the murderer soon. The town is plunged into terror and disorder.

Más vale que cojan al asesino pronto. La ciudad está inmersa/sumeda/ en el terror y el desorden

 

3.- You´d better catch up on paperwork. The boss is really cross with you.

Más vale que te pongas al día con el papeleo. El jefe está enfadado contigo de verdad.

 

4.- We´d better catch the thief before the mass media get wind of the situation.

Más vale que cojamos al ladrón antes de que los medios de comunicación se enteren del problema.

 

5.- You´d better catch the meaning of everything at once. This profesor is not very partial to giving explanations or to repeating things.

Más vale que cojas el significado de todo a la primera. Este profesor no es muy dado a dar explicaciones o repetir nada.
