Querías decir … “Lo importante es que lo entiendas “  y has dicho  “The important is that you understand it…”   ?¿?¿?¿¡¡¡¡

En inglés los adjetivos no se pueden convertir en sustantivos….importante es un adjetivo….

   lo importante se dice “The important thing”  entiendes? …:::

“The important thing”     Así    SÍ  !!

“The important thing is that you understand it”
