Posesive adjectives (en inglés se llaman adjetivos posesivos)
Por ser adjetivos
1º. no tienen plural, permanecen invariables.
perro grande, perros grandes
Big dog, big dogs ( big en los dos casos)
My brother, my brothers ( mi hermano mis hermanos… my no cambia)
2º el adjetivo va SIEMPRE delante del nombre o sustantivo

Hacen referencia a quien posee y no a lo poseído. En general preceden a sustantivos. Aquí encontrarás ejemplos traducidos al español.

Possessive adjectives are used to show possession or ownership of something. While we use them when we refer to people, it is more in the sense of relationship than ownership. For example,
Los adjetivos posesivos se usan para indicar posesión. Cuando los usamos para referirnos a personas, indican más un sentido de relación que de posesión. Por ejemplo,

The possessive adjectives are as follows:

You — Your = tu, su de Vd.
He — His
She — Her
It — Its
We — Our
You(plural) — Your (vuestro/a/os/as o su/s de Vds.)
They — Their = su/sus (de ellos)
