1. Él lleva casado 30 años.

He has been married  for   thirty years.

2. Ella está trabajando desde esta mañana, a las 7.

She has been working  since   7 a.m. this morning.

3. Ayer dieron un paseo de 5 horas.

They went walking  for   5 hours yesterday. They took a five-hour walk yesterday.

4. Tengo este coche desde 2003 y me gusta.

I have had this car  since   2003 and I like it.

5. Lleva viviendo en esa casa desde su infancia (él).

He has been living in that house  since   his childhood.

6. Está enferma desde hace un mes. Espero que mejore pronto. 

She has been ill  for   a month. I hope she will feel better soon.

7. No le veo desde que se mudó a Londres el año pasado.

I haven’t seen him  since   he moved to London last year.

8. Cuando él llegó a casa yo llevaba 40 minutos esperando. 

When he arrived home I had been waiting  for   40 minutes.

9. Ese perro lleva media hora ladrando.

That dog has been barking  for   half an hour.

10. No llueve desde principios de mes.

It has not rained  since   the beginning of the month.
